Sunbeams on Austhorpe Lane is delighted to be recognised as one of the top three percent of childcare providers in the UK to receive ’Outstanding in All Areas’ by Ofsted- the Office for Standards in Education and Children’s Services.
Ofsted regulates and inspects educational establishments for all ages of children, to ensure that all young people are receiving the right care in a learning environment that they deserve.
Sunbeams received top marks for all of Ofsted’s ‘early year’s provision’ criteria, including overall effectiveness of the early years, effectiveness of leadership and management, quality of the provision and outcome for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, making it one of the first privately owned day nurseries in Leeds to achieve this highly regarded recognition.
Kate Plews, Managing Director at Sunbeams Day Nursery commented on the success: “We are truly delighted to have been awarded outstanding in all areas. With the nursery’s tenth anniversary coming up this September, this recognition from Ofsted is a fantastic achievement that we have worked very hard for. At Sunbeams we believe that all children deserve the best possible start in life and we are doing everything we can to provide just that.”
Children at Sunbeams Day Nursery have access to two secure and enclosed outdoor play areas, fresh food prepared on the premises and twenty-three dedicated members of staff who have a genuine love and interest for children and work hard to provide a safe and friendly environment which all play a major part in Sunbeams ‘Outstanding in all Areas’ recognition.
