Sunbeams Staff Walk 24 Miles For NSPCC

The weather was kind , no rain 16 degrees but not too warm....
We set off as a group at 6.40am and finished almost as a group at 3.45..
St Johns ambulance tended to injured knees, blisters the size of a 50 pence piece but the determination was there for all to see.
Special mention to Marie who thought that 24 miles wasn’t enough and wanted to do a proper marathon distance and added an extra 2 mile loop in the middle (she got lost !) but still managed to finish with the group..... More importantly we raised enough money to fund phone calls and costs for a volunteer counsellor at Childline for 12 months.
