"I see the same staff in the morning as the evening so they are able to tell me what has happened."

Our Austhorpe nursery was the first nursery in West Yorkshire to have been awarded Quality Assurance Accreditation, and we are one of the 1st across the UK to gain Investors in Children.

A Partnership With Parents

"As a working parent I miss my children and often wonder what they're up to and worry that they are safe."        Kate Plews, Managing Director, Sunbeams

In Sunbeams we understand this so we devised a children's Diary to record everything for you. We have introduced a number of quality checks so we can make sure that our Nursery is the very best. It's a two way process so we thought it might be fun to do these things together.

Children's Diaries
Your child's individual progress is evaluated and fed back to you on a regular basis. There are spaces for you to add your comments and feedback for us. In this way a full record is kept throughout your child's stay in the Nursery. The Diary can then be used on entry to school.

Quality Checks
Feedback from our customers is an essential element to improving the quality within Sunbeams; this is done in the following way -
    Annual Parent satisfaction surveys
    Peer support for staff
Quality Performance Management (QPM) for staff
We also have other ways that parents can become involved in the nurseries:
Parents Evening (usually held 6 monthly)
    Parents Forum
Parents Social events such as our annual barbeques
Regular Newsletter to keep you informed of new developments
