Sunbeams Tea Party !
Time for Tea !
We have some wonderful independent children.
Here are some of the photo’s from our activity this afternoon at Thorpe Park.
The children absolutely loved mashing the ‘herbs’ squeezing juice out of the fruit, using the tweezers to pick up the sugar cubes and mixing it all together with different flavoured tea bags.
They interacted really nicely and showed a really good understanding of how to use the delicate cups and saucers safely. ( thank you to parents for the loan of these )
The activity lasted for over an hour or so with minimal support and not one thing got broken – success!
Temporary Contact – during nursery closures

Dear Parents

We understand that you may have lots of questions during this unsettling period.

As we only have one nursery open, can you please direct any questions to this e mail address

Can you please keep these to business hours as we know Shelley will answer mails anytime day or night and she needs to switch off too !!!!

Chinese New Year

The children at Sunbeams loved celebrating Chinese new year.
They have been creating dragons, lanterns and especially loved the food tasting.
It was a really fun day
Visit from Gino D’Acampo

We had a special visitor at Sunbeams today .

As part of “cook school” we were learning how to make pancakes and look who popped in to show us how !

Gino was fantastic with the children , talking to them about food and cooking . He didn’t want to leave !

A big thank you to Gino from all of us at Sunbeams
